Quote System Marketplace Add-On provides the functionality to customers to communicate and negotiate with sellers for products that they want to purchase. This would give a feel to your customers that they are shopping in a real physical store. The quote system creates a connection between customers and sellers. Sellers can allow customers to quote their products. This module is useful for ordering the seller’s products in bulk. Customers can request a discount or discuss the product in detail. Using this module customers can communicate with the seller about their queries. The notification counter icon is present in admin and the seller ends for checking the number of new notifications without actually viewing the quotation list.
Business Value
The “Request a Quote” functionality makes your eCommerce store customers feel as if they are shopping in a real store and have the ability to ask for a quote for the required products/items available. This feature assists in making that connection between the seller and the buyer by sharing lists of products for which the quote is requested. Buyers can ask for a quote and the admin can compromise and respond back with a compromising quotation proposal.
This module is useful for customers who want to order products in bulk. By using this module customers can quote a price for the required number of products that they want to buy and the admin can compromise and respond back with a compromising quotation proposal.
Here the seller is also able to enter the minimum quotation quantity of the product so that the buyers who want to purchase the product in bulk are only able to quote. This module helps in making a direct interaction between the seller and your customers for price negotiation and product query related communication.

How Does The Extension Works?
Set Email Notifications Template
The admin will be able to manage the basic settings related to the marketplace quote system. The admin will manage the marketplace quote system settings, marketplace quote configuration, and transactional emails. The admin can allow using the discount while the products in the cart and can also enable/ disable the module.
Select Quote Categories
The admin can also set the quote countries, minimum quantity, and the type of attachments allowed. The admin can also set the template for the new quote, quote edit, quote message, and quote status update.
Marketplace quote Management System
The seller can check the list of quotes requested by the customer for its products. The seller can edit or delete the quotes depending on the requirement. The seller can just view the quotes with status as sold. The seller can delete the quote if the status is pending or approved.
Revise Quotation
The seller can also edit the quote details like the quantity, email, description, attachment, etc. The email for the same will be sent to the customer for sharing the information.
Minimum Quote Order Quantity
The seller will also manage the quote settings by selecting the category of products for which quote will be allowed and the quantity also. The seller can also set the quote status for the specific product from the product edit page.
Display Notification Count
The admin and the seller will get to know that a new notification is available by the red notification icon available on the top of the manage quotes section. That icon contains the number of new notifications admitted to the existing list.
Quote Product Button
The button for quoting the product will be visible on the product page as well as the category page. So that the customer can quote products easily from the desired location of the store.
Add To Cart - Approved Quote
The customer can finally quote the product by clicking on the quote product button. Just after that, a popup form will appear that includes the quantity of the quote product, price of the product per unit, and the description for the quote. The customer can also add an attachment to describe the requirement.
