- It covers most of the functional SEO requirements for a website.
- It offers better functionality in comparison with the default Magento 2.
- It includes the best SEO approaches.
- It keeps being upgraded with new enhancements.
Main Features:
- SEO Metadata Templates
The automatic creating meta tags for product and category pages is an easy task when using SEO Metadata Templates module. This tool will auto-generate meta titles, meta descriptions and meta keywords based on the product and category. To make it faster you could create the meta tags templates for product and catalog pages. The module provides a big range of complex variables for adding more attractive SEO meta information to the template.
- SEO HTML Sitemap
The module enables creating HTML sitemap with a list of stores, categories, products, CMS pages, and custom links. Given that Magento 2 doesn't include many features by default, you get a chance to add HTML sitemap to your site. It will be helpful for a website with lots of content. By placing HTML sitemap you help visitors find the info they're looking for. As you know, search engines reward simple, user-friendly and easy to use websites.
- SEO XML Sitemap
The module brings new functionality to Magento 2 XML sitemap. You will get the ability to include custom links, add images to category links, add an hreflang attribute, set up sitemap file limits. The XML sitemap is an important element for estimation by search engines. It helps Google to better crawl your website as well as to show you have updated content.
- Rich Snippets
The module uses JSON-LD format to present Schema.org data about your website content. You can easily include some additional information to structured data such as a product's data (SKU, price, currency, availability and reviews’ rating), information about your organization with social links, website info with site links search box, breadcrumbs trail. Rich snippets make your store content more clear for search engines. It will also help you to show users more engaging information that leads to better CTR.
- SEO Pagination
The module is about improving the crawlability problems for paginated content in Magento 2. It comes with a feature that provides visitors with View All page in search results. To help users find all products on one page, the module uses ‘view-all’ link for paginated content. The ‘view-all’ link + rel=” next” and rel=”prev” strategy for paginated content is set by default, but the module allows modifying that in the configuration.
- SEO URLs
The module simplifies the building of easy to read links for layered navigation filters on the category page. Now you can show a short and understandable search URL. It improves access to important content by helping search engines to select a category or product page for keywords. The module also aims to reduce the duplicated content in your store. It is achieved by generating the same URL for the same filter set.
- Regional and Language URLs
Using hreflang attribute is critically important for websites that offer content for multilingual users or stores that target the different markets that use the same language. The Regional and Language URLs module includes “Add hreflang to page head” option that allows adding an Hreflang to the XML sitemap or page head. That way you will redirect customers to the most appropriate version of your website by language or region. The module also has “Locale as a subfolder in URLs” option that allows adding a locale as a subdirectory into a store base URL. That helps you to generate accurate and valid URLs for each store view. There will be no redirects 404 URLs. A good option for search crawlers.
