Back to topThe Shipping Restrictions module enhances the default Magento 2 functionality used to specify the applicable shipping carriers and methods during checkout. This module allows additional restrictions criteria to be specified. Now store owners can restrict shipping methods by customer groups, days, product attributes, cart attributes and more. Shipping Restrictions gives you complete control over the shipping methods available to customers.

Features
- No limitations: Create an unlimited amount of shipping restriction rules as per your needs. Restrict shipping methods in just a few clicks.
- Disable specific shipping carriers and methods: Specify which shipping methods should be hidden when all conditions of a rule are met. Additionally, you can also indicate whether or not a rule should only be active on the front-end or also in the backend.
- Restrict based on store view and/or customer group: Hide shipping methods based on the customer group of the user ordering or the store view being ordered from. This allows, for example, to offer registered users free shipping.
- Use cart attributes as conditions: It is also possible to restrict shipping methods based on product attributes in the customer's cart, cart attributes like subtotal or weight, the shipping address of the customer (country, postcode, etc.) or the payment method.
- Specific time and days of the week: Want to hide shipping methods during specifics times of a day or during specific days of the week? Not a problem, as the module allows this flexibility as well to be configured for each restriction rule.
- Restrict or allow based on cart price rules: Use cart price rules as a condition on when to apply or not apply a certain restriction rule.
- Differentiate between frontend and backend: Hide certain shipping methods only on the frontend and allow them to be selected when manually entering an order.
