Payment Restrictions

The Payment Restrictions module improves the standard Magento 2 functionality used to specify the active payment methods during checkout. Via this module additional criteria to restrict payment methods can be specified.

Features

• No limitations: Create an unlimited amount of payment restriction rules as per your needs. Restrict payment methods in just a few clicks.
• Disable specific payment methods: Specify which payment methods should be hidden when all conditions of a rule are met. Additionally, you can also indicate whether or not a rule should only be active on the front-end or also in the backend.
• Restrict based on store view and/or customer group: Hide payment methods based on the customer group of the user ordering or the store view being ordered from. This allows, for example, to offer wholesalers to pay via bank transfer.
• Use cart attributes as conditions: It is also possible to restrict payment methods based on product attributes in the customer's cart, cart attributes like subtotal or weight, the shipping address of the customer (country, postcode, etc.) or the shipping method.
• Specific time and days of the week: Want to hide payment methods during specifics times of a day or during specific days of the week? Not a problem, as the module allows this flexibility as well to be configured for each restriction rule.
• Restrict or allow based on cart price rules: Use cart price rules as a condition on when to apply or not apply a certain restriction rule.
• Differentiate between frontend and backend: Hide certain payment methods only on the frontend and allow them to be selected when manually entering an order.
