The Mass Stock Update extension allows updating Magento stocks from CSV and XML files. The source file can be stored in different places, such as in Magento's files system. But you can also retrieve the source file from remote servers (via FTP or HTTP) or even from a webservice.
The stock update process can be completely automated and scheduled. For this, the extension comes with cron tasks where you can simply tick the days and hours when you want the profile to be executed. You also have the possibility to use the command line interface and to be notified in real-time of the progress of the process. The Mass Stock Update extension also adapts itself to many configurations. Thanks to the advanced mapping features, custom rules, and the real-time preview, you can easily correct the inconsistent, incomplete, or misformatted data.
