It has divided the world into precise squares and assigned each one a unique address of 3 words. It is more accurate than traditional street addressing, and even allows location information to be captured for places without addresses, such as parks or beaches.
The what3words AutoSuggest extension for Magento helps you capture what3words addresses at checkout, using an address validation field. By giving a what3words address, your customers can accurately pinpoint their desired delivery destination, for example, by giving the what3words address of their front door at checkout.
Account and Pricing
You will need to sign up for an account with what3words, after which you need to create an API key to use with the extension. It’s free to set up and get started, and there are paid plans available for higher levels of usage. The account is not created during extension installation.
