YouTube is the most popular video-sharing website, it is owned by Google. YouTube platform allows anyone to upload, watch, comment, and share the video content around the world. YouTube Channel Feeds extension allows the store owner to display latest video Feeds on the Store. The admin can place the customizable YouTube Channel Feeds widget on any part of the page and show information about updated video content to the customers.

Use Case of YouTube Channel Feeds :

The main purpose of this extension is that it allows the customer to view video updates published by the online store. So, instead of going to YouTube website and browsing the videos, the customer can simply check out the latest updated video content from the store itself. For example - the videos can be anything related to product reviews, unboxing, customer feedback, or comparisons.

Google account is required, create a free account on Google.  An active YouTube channel is required, you can create a new channel free of cost. There is no Pricing involved. You need to get YouTube API Key to make this module work.



Features of YouTube Channel Feeds :

  • Set the number of feeds to display in the widget.

  • Set the YouTube Channel Feed widget text color.

  • Customize the height and width of the widget.

Work-Flow of YouTube Channel Feeds :

After the module installation, the admin will go to Content>Pages>Edit and insert the widget. Then, the admin needs to enter its YouTube channel ID and account username. Set the maximum number of feeds to display, wall data color, height, and width of the widget.

On the front-end, any customer will be able to view the YouTube channel feeds widget on the store. The customer will see the channel logo, name, and count for subscribers and the videos.

When the customer clicks on any of the video title or thumbnail, the page will redirect to the YouTube website and the video will play.
