How Does The Extension Work?

Endicia Account Creation

The admin needs to create the account in the Endicia by providing the Passphrase. Once the account is created the admin will receive the Account ID on the registered email address. 

Admin Configurations

In this section, the admin can set the title of the shipping method that will be displayed at the frontend. The shipping option can be enabled or disabled just by a single click. The Passphrase and the Account ID will be entered by the admin. The admin will add the Endicia Mailpiece shape. For insuring the package the admin selects insurance type as Endicia because it adds the shipping cost to the package cost. For the insurance type also the Mailpiece and Mail class will be selected. The handling fee will be managed by the admin in the configurations only.

Manage Endicia Account

Not only the creation of the Endicia account but the admin can also manage the account from backend and check the Account Id, Account Balance and buy Postage easily. A Preferred amount in USD is paid by the admin to purchase the postage.

Select Shipping Method

At the time of checkout, the customer will select the shipping method and the particular service under that. Endicia provides various services for different purposes. Every service has separate shipping charges. Only those services will be visible to the customer which are selected by the admin at the backend.

Create Shipment

The admin can create invoices, shipment, and shipping labels. The shipping method will be mentioned in all of the slips printed by the admin. After that, the package will be sent to the customer using the shipping service selected by the customer.

Order Tracking

The admin receives the tracking number from the respective service provider which will be adding to the shipment. By that tracking number, the customer can also track their order.
