Shopping List

Using the Shopping List module customers can create a shopping list for the products and can purchase the products later. Customers can create a shopping list before going to the store for their convenience so that they cannot miss the products which they want to purchase. Create multiple shopping lists, add or remove multiple products to the respective shopping lists. Create the order from their shopping list, further guest customers can manage the shopping list.

Business Value

This extension provides a facility for the customers to make a shopping list for their use so that they cannot miss any item that is to be purchased. This is very helpful for the customers to remember each item at the time of purchase. If the customer wants to purchase products of their choice and does not want to miss even a single product at the time of shopping, this list will help the customer to remind the products of their choices at that time. It can be created before going to the store as well as during online shopping also.

How Does This Extension Work?

Allow Customers to Create New Shopping List

The registered customers can create a new shopping list by the Create New List option in the shopping list. For the Guest users, there is a default list available. They cannot create a new list. 

Merge Guest Shopping List

The registered customers can merge the guest shopping list which is created by them before log in to the store with their existing shopping list. They need to click on the Merge Guest List option for merging their own shopping list with the guest list.

Add and Delete Products From Shopping List

The products can be added to the list created by the customer. The customer just has to click on the Add to Shopping List button and has to select the shopping list from the dropdown. Registered customers can also delete the entire shopping list and specific products from that list by the Black delete button to delete the entire list and by the delete button icon which is visible in front of the products.

Checkout Process for Registered Customers

To place an order a customer has to click on the Create Order button present in the desired shopping list then select the shipping address and shipping method and has to accept the terms and conditions and then click on the Place Order button.

Add Products from Guest Shopping List

There will be a button Add Product To Shopping List on the category page with products displayed on it. Guest customers need to click on the Guest Customer list from the dropdown list to add the products. The customer can view the shopping list by clicking on the View details under the Guest shopping list.

Checkout Process for Guest Customer

There will be a  Create Order button present in the Guest Shopping List. The customer needs to fill in the details like Name, address, city, email-id, etc., choose the shipping method and shipping address.
