Web Push Notification is an impressive module that allows you to send push notifications from your store to subscribed users. These messages are immediately delivered to the web browser of the user.
Any short message with the title, logo and redirect URL link can be used for the push notifications. As long as the web browser is running, a subscribed user will get a pop-up message on top of the screen even without opening up your website.
Note-For using this module, you need to have Firebase Project Credentials - Sender Id and Server Key, which will be used in the Magento configuration.
Once the Firebase credentials are received, the backend configurations will come to play. The creation of new templates will be there to be displayed in the notifications sent to the users. After that, the admin will select the registered users to whom the notifications will be sent. The admin can also delete the desired template.
At the front-end, the customer will allow the push notifications to receive them. Once allowed by the customer the push notification will be displayed with the Template Title, Template Logo, Template Message and the Redirect URL.

Use Case:
The push notification messages are used for sharing short messages to the users. The web push notification module can be used for delivering any information related to the new products, upcoming offers & discounts or any important news & updates, etc.
With the help of redirect URL link in the push notification, the users can click the message which can be redirected to the associated web page. By this module, the customer does not need to open the mailbox for the short messages and details. Just by some clicks, the details will be visible and the web page can be accessed by the customer. Which makes the sharing of information easy and quick.

How Does Module Work?
Firebase Project Credentials
Before using the module, to configure the push notifications the user needs to have the FIrebase Project Credentials. These credentials may include Sender Id and the Server Key. New Notification Template
The admin will be able to add the new template by adding some details like Title, Template Message, Redirect URL, Template Tags, Template Logo. The redirect URL will direct the customer to the web page associated with that particular notifications. For Example, any notification of Facebook directs you to the Facebook page. The admin can add tags to identify a particular message. Also, the template logo can be configured by providing a logo image by the admin. The admin can also delete any notification.
Applicable For Registered User
Just after the new templates are added, the admin will select the customers to send a particular notification. A list of Registered users will be available under the Push Notification section. From that list, the admin will select the desired customers to whom the notification is to be sent. The customer can select specific customers all the customers at once.
Front-End View
Once all the backend configurations are completed the customer will be able to see them in the front-end. Before that, the customer needs to allow the push notification to receive them. Once allowed by the customer, the notifications will be displayed to the customer.
