Overview

The Product Repricer module makes it easier for the admin to compare the cost of a product on one eCommerce website to another. Nowadays, consumers check products' prices before making purchases, making it occasionally challenging to attract buyers.

The admin can compare prices and decrease the number of products on their website with the help of the repricer module.

They can also design a variety of rival websites where customers can compare products. In order to compare the pricing with another website, the administrator must apply the CSS HTML code.

Business Value

The admin can add new competitors and their domains using this module. Once the rival has been added, the admin can add a link to that competitor's product and a CSS selector for the competitor's prices, special offers, events, and product availability.

The administrator can even check the outcomes against the data entered. The product price will alter on the admin website based on the target price the admin sets for that specific product after entering the competitor's information and the deduction %.

This module currently only functions with the Simple Product Type.

Features List

  • The admin can build many competitor websites (stores).
  • The price comparison is based on unique schemas for extracting prices from product page HTML code.
  • analysis of the websites of rivals (manual launch).
  • support for various price points, special offers, marketing initiatives, and product accessibility from rivals.
  • Admin has the ability to remove competitors in bulk.
  • The customer's end will experience the new price.
  • When altering the module's price, one pricing rule will be in effect.
  • The HTML code for the rival product is accessible to the administrator.
  • Prices from the rival website are retrieved using XPath and CSS selectors.
  • The administrator can configure the cron to alter prices in accordance with a competitor's website.

How Does The Extension Work?

Module Setting by the Admin

The admin needs to install the module first and the competitors in the module. So the admin can compare the price from another website and apply the rule for comparison and then decrease the price accordingly. Also, the admin can edit or delete any competitor anytime from their panel and add a new one to reprice the product pricing.

Add Competitors Website

The admin can add multiple competitor eCommerce websites in the module and the customer will check the competitor's website on the products page. The admin needs to add the competitor’s website URL for adding the competitors. Once the competitor is added admin can add their product as well to compare the price.

Add Competitors Products

The admin can add the products from the competitor’s website. They just need to copy the URL of the product and paste it into the comparable product. Once it's added admin can test the product as per their price comparison rule and decide the targeted price and deduction percentage. After that admin’s product price will adjust accordingly.

Add Product Price by HTML Code

For adding the product the admin needs to use the CSS selector and Xpath selector for adding the HTML value of the product. The admin can inspect the price and select the value of the product and then compile it with their store product for comparison. To get the value of the product in the module you can use HTML code.

Apply Price Comparison Rule

To compare the price of the product admin needs to add the rule for FPC (fixed price), DPC (deduction percentage), and stock. Accordingly, the module will get the base price of the product then apply the rule and then calculate the final price. Admin can change the deduction percentage for a single product separately.
