PerProduct Shipping Marketplace Add-on allows the seller and administrator to set individual shipping rates for each product. When adding or editing a product, the admin or the seller may indicate the shipping rate of the product. The admin can set the title of the shipping method, name, select applicable shipping countries, set the default shipping price per product. The seller may add the tracking number, print the invoice, send the slips, send tracking email to the customer.
Business Value
The admin or the seller will be able to customize the shipping rates themselves with the help of this extension. They may provide different shipping rates for different types of products. They 're going to have more control over shipping prices.
As the shipment will not be based on the weight of the product or the zip code of delivery. The admin can even configure how to calculate the shipment per product-the the main product or the associated product. Per Product Shipping Marketplace Add-On is a solution for vendors who sell different products. Because marketplace sellers sometimes want to offer variable shipping rates for each product because of a huge difference in product weight and size. Using this module, sellers can adjust the different shipping rates exactly as they wish for each individual product.
Features List
- The vendor can add different shipping prices for each product.
- The admin can also update the shipping prices of products.
- The admin selects whether the per product shipping calculation will depend on the main product shipping price or on their associated product’s shipping price.
- If in the shopping cart, there are different products from different sellers then the shipping cost of each product will be multiplied by the product quantity added by the customer and then the total will be displayed on the checkout page.
- In case, shipping per product rate is not set by the seller, then the admin’s default per product shipping rate will be applied. Admin can set the default per product shipping while configuring the module.
- The seller can add Invoice & Packing slip address, VAT, Tax information.
- The seller can enter the tracking number and save it.
- Ability to download Invoice and Shipping Slip easily.
How Does The Extension Works?
Setup Per Product Marketplace Shipping
Enable/disable the module by selecting either “Yes” or “No”. Set the title which will be displayed on the frontend. Define the shipping method name.
Default Shipping Price
If the seller has not set/forgot to set the “Shipping Price” for any of his products, then the default shipping price set by the admin will apply to those seller products
Handling Fee
Enter the handling fee that will be applicable to the product.
Shipping Based On
The admin can select the main or associated (child) product for the shipping calculation i.e, whose shipping price will be used for rate calculation.
Applicable Countries
The admin can allow all the countries else to allow specific countries where the admin wants to allow the shipping. Select the specific countries where the admin wants to allow the shipment.
Store Admin Product - Add Shipping Charge
After the module setup, the store admin will find a text field while editing or adding a product named “Shipping Charges”. Here, the admin can enter the shipping charge for any particular product.
Marketplace Product-Wise Shipping
The seller can set shipping costs per product by going to "My Product List", adding or editing an existing product, and enter the shipping cost. Now every seller can set and add the custom shipping cost to each product individually.
Offline Shipping Method
Customers can now add the product to the cart and perform the checkout process. At the time of the selection of the shipping method, customers can choose the marketplace by-product shipping and place the order.
Generate Shipment
The sellers can go to the Order History section and see the orders received. Sellers can make shipments, invoices, send emails to customers. After the shipment has been created, the vendor can also provide the tracking number. For a specific order, an invoice slip and packing slip can be downloaded from the seller and the slips can even be printed.
Batch Download & Print
The seller can even download bulk invoices and shipping slips. The seller can "download invoice slip" or "download shipping slip" after going to "my product list" and then enter the date (to and from) to download the slips.
