Google Cloud Translation enables websites and applications to dynamically translate text programmatically through an API. The Translation service uses a Google pre-trained or a custom machine learning model to translate text.
Language Translator Marketplace Add-On provides a translated view of the products and category attributes for the selected store by using the Google Translation service. This extension converts the entire online marketplace store view language by translating it according to the user-language selection. Thus it translates the complete frontend catalog, admin product attributes, seller product attributes, and categories.
Language Translator Marketplace Add-On offers functionality to the customers to select the store view language. Whenever the customer selects the store view, the language of the store will get translated automatically according to the selected store view by using this module.
This add-on is crucial for the store owners who have their stores across the globe as it translates the entire store language for the admin’s product, seller’s products, and the category.
This extension is useful for the stores where the store owner wants to offer multiple-language support to international shoppers. Whenever the buyer found the website more interactive, and user-friendly, it leads to increased conversions. Account & Pricing
An additional account is required to use this extension feature. Language Translator Marketplace Add-On uses Google Translation API service.
- To enable the service, the store admin must have the Google API Key.
- You need to enable billing for your Google account project under which the API Key is created.

How Does The Extension Works?
Category Language Translation
The Store owner will create the category from the catalog section and will select the store view from the top left corner to view and select the language for the storefront. The category gets translated automatically according to the language selection.
Product Language Translation
Similarly, the store owner will view and choose the store view for the products and the product attributes like; product name, description get translated into the chosen language.
Seller Product Translation
The seller will apply the language translation for the products from their dashboard. The seller will create the products and will choose the store view after selecting the product type to view the translated store.
Seller Page Translation
When the seller chooses the language for the store, the product attributes get translated as per the language selection, and the translated products will display on the product page on the seller page view.
Category Storefront Translation
When the customer selects any specific language for store view from the front-end the store view spontaneously converts its language of the product category according to the choice.
Product Storefront Translation
If the customer or the buyer wants to see the product information like; product description, product name, etc. in any other language then the buyer just has to select the store view and the storefront will convert in the selected language.
For Store Admin
- Set the language for their product attributes.
- The language for the store category can also be set by the admin.
- Multiple language support feature increase the sale of the products.
For Marketplace Sellers
- Add multi-language functionality for their product’s attributes.
- The sellers’ product language will get updated automatically as it uses Google Translator for language translation.
