Overview

Using the B2B Customer Approval module, the admin can manage the customer registration and login to the store. The customer approval feature enables the admin to approve/disapprove any customer who registers to the store. The module allows the admin to restrict the customers from logging in to the store after their registration. And, the customer cannot log in to their accounts if their account is not approved by the admin. Also, the admin can send email notifications to the customers upon account approval and disapproval.

Use Case

In default Magento, the admin can’t control customer registration on the Magento store. This sometimes leads to fraud account creation. To control this, the admin should have a feature to control and manage the customer registration and login. The B2B Customer Approval extension restricts the customer to register and create an account on the Magento store. The admin can approve or disapprove the customer whenever required. This way the admin can control the customer account access.

  • Enable or disable the customer auto-approval feature.
  • Allow the admin to manage customer approval.
  • Supports customer auto approve or manually approve feature.
  • Configure the custom message for the customers when their account is not approved and try to log in.

  • Multiple customers can be disapproved by the admin.

Workflow

After the module installation, the admin will either enable or disable the customer auto-approval feature as per the choice. If the “Auto Approval” feature is enabled. Then, the customer doesn’t require any approval from the admin after registration and can easily log in to their accounts.

But if the “Auto Approval” feature is disabled. Then, after the successful registration, the customer cannot log in to their account. The customers will be notified by mail that their account needs approval by the admin. The customers cannot log in to their accounts until the account gets approved by the admin. But when the customer accounts get approved by the admin, they will get an approval mail and the customers can log in to their account successfully.
