Overview

Note - This module is an add-on of Webkul's Marketplace Module. To use this module, you must have purchased and installed Multi-Vendor Marketplace first.

B2B Wholesale Catalogue Marketplace Add-On will allow the vendors to sell products from the admin catalog. The extension restricts the marketplace seller to add or create listings of their products. The sellers are assigned to various seller groups by the store admin. The creation of the seller group takes place based on the attribute set and category. Herein the seller will send a product assignment request to the admin. However, this request can only be generated for those products which belong to the default attribute set, category and seller groups. These requests can be managed by the admin. The admin can here assign more than one attribute to a seller group. Thus, allowing the seller to sell multiple varieties of the products. This will help the seller to get attracted towards such a marketplace. While the customer can compare and purchase the same product from different sellers.

Note - The module only supports simple and virtual product types.

Business Value

The extension is one sorted tool for the B2B e-Commerce site owners. It helps the seller to save time to add the complete product details on the web store. The seller can also take advantage of the branding standards set by the store owner. The marketplace sellers can even go for the best selling products by looking at the admin catalog. On the other hand, the admin can increase the visibility of their product by allowing sellers to sell them. Thus, allowing the generation of maximized profit.

How Does This Extension Work?

Seller Product Approval Setting

Here the admin can enable or disable the seller product approval required or not. If the field is set as “Yes” then the admin approval is a must for a seller to sell the products, and if set as “No” then the seller can sell the products without the admin approval.

Seller Product Configuration

The admin can enable default configuration for the seller. Here if the admin sets the value as Yes, then the default attribute set and default category selected by the admin will get assigned to only those sellers who aren't assigned to any of the seller groups by the admin. Wherein the admin needs to define the default attribute or category. Else if the field is set to No then the All product list at seller end will be displayed according to the seller group assigned to the sellers.

Disable Admin Products

Enable/disable admin products from the frontend. However, once the admin will enable/disable the product a load will run in a new tab like a pop-up. This will allow the process of changing the product status like enable/disable which is visible in the loading bar. The admin will enable/ disable the product then a popup will appear, by which the process of changing product status like enable or disable can be seen by the help of a loading bar. When this complete process is accomplished the admin can save the configuration.

Manage Seller Groups

The admin will assign the sellers to a group. For this, seller group creation must take place. To create it the seller will first enter the group name, select the allowed attribute set and category. The seller group can be managed in the module from the Manage Seller Groups menu option. Herein the admin can view, edit, and remove/delete the seller groups.

Assign Seller Group

The manage seller menu will allow the admin to assign seller groups to sellers. To do this the admin can select the seller from the list, then the admin can choose the seller group in Assign Seller Group drop-down.

Create Product Assign Request

Now on the frontend, the sellers can request for the assignment of the product. Herein the seller will go to the All Product option. Remember the seller will see the products in this section as per the attribute set, category, or seller group assigned to the seller. Now, the seller can select the products from the list and click on the Assign Product option in the Action dropdown.

However, the seller can see the product request in the Pending Request section. Once, the admin approves the request the seller can see the products in the My Catalog section. Wherein the seller can edit the product detail like the Price and Quantity.

Seller Requests Management

The admin in the backend can manage the request from the Manage Seller Product Requests menu option. Here the admin can select the requests and approve or reject requests from action dropdown.

Storefront View

Now once all the admin end-setting and seller end settings are done the frontend can view a list of products of sellers. For this one has to see the seller profile and seller collection page. However, on the front end product page, the SKU of the same product will be different for admin and sellers.
