Firebase is a technology that permits to make web applications with no server-side programming so that development turns out to be quicker and easier. With Firebase, we don't have to stress over-provisioning servers or building REST APIs with just a little bit of configuration, we can give Firebase a chance to take every necessary step - storing data, verifying users, and implementing access rules. Applications using Firebase can just use and control data without having to think about how data would be stored, and synchronized across various examples of the application in real-time.
Web Push Notification Marketplace Add-On allows the admin and sellers to send push notifications to their subscribed users. The sellers can send the push notification messages from the front-end. The admin and the sellers can create various templates for the push notification. The admin and sellers can view, delete and send push notification messages to their respective users. Any custom image for the icon can be uploaded to the message template. If a user can click the push notification message, it will be redirected to a web page.

To use this add-on, you must have Firebase Project Credentials, Sender Id and Server Key, which will be used in the Magento configuration.

The push notification messages are used for sharing short messages to the users. How Does The Extension Work?
Initial Admin Management
After creating and configuration of the Firebase credentials the admin can configure the add-on easily. After the successful installation and configuration of the add-on, the admin and the sellers will have two sub-menu options i.e. – Registered Users and Notification Templates and it will be visible under the menu option Push Notification.
The admin can edit or delete the existing template. And can even create a new template message. Under Send Notification, the admin will find a complete list of all the subscribed users of the website who have agreed to receive notification messages. The admin sends push notification to the subscribed users. And can even delete the subscribed users.
Seller Management
Under the Notification Templates section, the sellers will find a complete list of notification templates. The seller can edit or delete an existing template and can even create a new template message. Under the Registered Users section, the sellers will find a complete list of all the subscribed users of the website who have agreed to receive notification messages. The seller can send a push notification to the subscribed users.
Front-End Management
On the front-end, the website users will get a pop-up message on top of their browser window. This pop-up message will ask users to show notifications from your website, the users will have to click either Allow or Block option. If allowed, the customer will be able to receive the web push notifications.
