Note - This module is an add-on of Webkul's Marketplace Module. To use this module, you must have purchased and installed Multi-Vendor Marketplace first.

PayPal is one of the most recognized payment methods for e-Commerce store owners. It aims at providing various services for the store owner and its sellers. With faster, safer, and easier transactions it is operable in 202 countries and it is used by over 218 million registered users. Using Paypal anyone to send, receive, and hold funds in the PayPal account.

Using Mass Payment Marketplace Add-on, the admin will be able to make the marketplace seller payouts easily. The admin will use the PayPal mass payout option for making the seller payouts. This will simplify the process of payouts within the marketplace with quick payment to 500 sellers. It helps the attraction of more sellers as with a much systemized and quick payment receiving procedure. The sellers need not think much about payouts as it gets transferred to their PayPal accounts. The seller PayPal account details are also saved in the module. The unclaimed transactions can also be managed in the system wherein the store owner can cancel the payment of such transactions.


Account & Pricing

The admin and the sellers should have a working PayPal Business account for the proper functioning of this extension.

  • You can create your business account by clicking on PayPal Sign Up 
  • The sender of a Mass Payment is charged a fee for each payment.
  • Please visit the fees page for information on International Mass Payments fees.
  • There is no need for PCI compliance for this extension since there is no card information.
  • PayPal ID is only saved on the Magento server.
  • No tokenization is there.

The extension's main objective is to process a safe and secure transaction between admin and seller. Whenever merchants have a huge store with multiple sellers to repay them is a big hurdle. This extension allows the admin to payout the sellers in bulk. This process eases the transaction and reduces the issue of incorrect transmission. It also builds in reliability among the sellers in the store. Here the admin can even manage the unclaimed transactions on the store by canceling the payment of such transactions. Thus, helping the store owner to remain safe from loss of unclaimed payments.

Enabling Seller Mass Payment

After the successful installation of the extension, the admin will configure the extension by entering the PayPal details. Now, the admin will be ready to make the payout to the sellers.


Seller PayPal Details

Similarly, the sellers will have to set their PayPal details to receive the payout from the admin. The sellers will navigate to their Manage PayPal details section to add their PayPal details like the PayPal ID, PayPal first, and last name.


Mass Payout Upto 500 Sellers

The admin will mass select the sellers for making the mass PayPal payment. To make a mass PayPal payment to the sellers, the admin will select all the sellers and then from the drop-down option select the PayPal mass payment option. Now clicking the "Pay" button will make the sellers payout automatically.


Mass Payout History Check

After making the mass payout, the admin will be able to check the payout details under the Mass Payment history section in the admin backend. Here, the admin can check the payment Batch id, Batch Status, Sender Batch id, Created On, and can view particular seller payment information by clicking the View Payments link for each respective seller. 


Unclaimed Records

If the receiver is unconfirmed, then the transaction status is set as unclaimed. The admin can click on the Cancel Payment button to cancel the unclaimed payment that has been made. And this makes the transaction status as Returned. This option is useful when the receiver is not registered, you can also ask the sellers to sign up with PayPal to start receiving the payments. 


Transaction Check

To check all the transactions made the admin will navigate to the Sellers Transactions section. Here the admin can see a list of all the sellers to whom he has made the payout. 



For Store Owner

  • The admin will be able to make the marketplace seller payouts easily and quickly by just making a few clicks. 
  • The admin will be able to select 500 sellers and make a payout to them at a time.
  • Also, the admin can add a payment note while making the payout to the sellers. 


For Marketplace Sellers

  • The sellers will be able to receive their payouts easily via the PayPal mass payout.
  • The sellers just need to enter their PayPal ID under the Payment Information section of their account.
  • Track down the transaction admin did for each payout.
