Fixed Shipping Marketplace Add-on allows the sellers to set a flat shipping rate for all products. The same fixed shipping rate will be charged for every product delivery at any location. The admin can set the fixed shipping rate calculation based on the vendor or number of products added in the cart. If a seller has not set its fixed shipping rate, the admin's fixed shipping rate will apply. With the use of this extension, the shipping management will become easy. As the same shipping cost will be applied for every zip code, region, or location. The sellers and the admin can even offer free shipping to the customer for the minimum order amount. Each seller can manage their own fixed shipping rates, create shipments, print invoices, send the tracking details to customers.
Business Value
The fixed-rate shipping means predictable shipping costs. Sometimes customers do not place the order due to higher shipping charges, showing incorrect shipping addresses, higher handling fees, etc. So fixed rate shipping helps to overcome these limitations, the admin and seller can set their custom shipping for their products to provide the best delivery service. With flat shipping rates across the product range and zip codes, customers will worry about the varying freight charges.

How Does The Extension Works?
Marketplace Fixed Rate Shipping
The admin can enable the module, set a title, name, default price, free shipping amount, and select applicable countries. Also, the admin can enter the free shipping minimum order amount for the customers.
Fixed Shipping Rate Calculation
Configure how to calculate the fixed shipping amount- vendor or product quantity based.
For example - If the vendor has configured fixed rate shipping price = $9. So, if there are 3 products in the cart from the same vendor:
If the admin set ‘Shipping based on‘ to ‘Vendor‘. Then, the fixed-rate shipping price displayed to the customer during checkout will be only $9. But, if the admin sets the ‘Shipping based on‘ to ‘Product‘. Then, the fixed-rate shipping price displayed to the customer during checkout will be only $27.
Seller Manage Fixed Rate Shipping
The sellers can set the shipping price. They can also set the minimum amount for free shipping. The fixed shipping cost will be the same for every product. It will not rely on the product weight or zip code
Flat Rate Shipping Method
Now, when a customer will add the product to the cart and will process further to place the order the customer can see the Marketplace Fixed-rate method as a shipping method to select the shipping method for their products. The customer can also see the selected shipping method on the order review & payments page and complete the order. The customer can also see the Shipping Method on the order history page from their customer account.
Manage Order & Create Shipment
If the admin sets the “Allow Seller to Manage Order” option “yes” then the seller can manage the orders from the frontend. Now the seller can generate shipment for their ordered products, add carrier details, and tracking number. Then, the seller can notify the customers by sending them an email about the shipment tracking.
