EasyPost was founded in 2012 as the first RESTful API for shipping. The company helps in removing the technical complexities of logistics so customers can get back to growing their businesses. EasyPost allows businesses to integrate tracking statuses’, address verification, rating, and more from DHL Global Mail, FedEx, UPS, USPS, and other regional carriers into their e-commerce site or application.
EasyPost Shipping Marketplace Add-On will work as a medium between the EasyPost and the Magento website in which the admin and the seller need to enter their API Key generated at the EasyPost end which will help the customer during checkout to choose among the various shipping carriers for their orders. The shipping carriers are added by the admin and sellers in their EasyPost account earlier. By entering the API key in the module will sync their shipping carriers in EasyPost end with the module itself.

To make use of this extension, the admin & seller must have a separate account at EasyPost. It allows them to have the API key required for shipping integration.

Features List
- The admin can enable or disable the Marketplace EasyPost Shipping method.
- The admin can set the Marketplace EasyPost shipping title name that will be shown from the front-end.
- The admin can allow sellers to save their EasyPost credentials.
- The EasyPost shipping rate will be calculated from the seller's address.
- Select the weight unit as “Lbs” or “Kilograms” as per the requirement.
- Enter the error message that will be displayed if the method is not available.
- Generate the debug log in the system backend.
- Set the length, width, and height of the package.
- The admin and sellers can generate shipments for their orders.
- The admin and sellers can enter the shipment information with the tracking number.
- Generate PDF and print packing slips for the orders.
How Does The Extension Works?
After installing the extension, the admin has to first configure the module settings from the admin backend. To do so, the admin will - enable the module for checkout, set the method name that's visible at the front-end, enter the API key (Can also generate from there only by clicking on the get EasyPost credential), allow sellers to save their EasyPost credential and many more.
Setup Store Origin (Admin)
After the configuration, the admin has to set up his store’s origin. To do so, the admin will have to - choose the country, region/state, zip code, city, and the street address. The store origin address helps in generating the cost of shipping for the admin’s products.
Marketplace EasyPost (Seller)
If the admin has allowed sellers to save EasyPost Details in the extension configuration settings, then the sellers will find a new menu option under their marketplace block – “Manage EasyPost Shipping”. Here, the seller needs to enter his EasyPost account-related API Key. After entering the key tap the save button to save the configuration.
Marketplace Store Origin (Sellers)
The sellers can also set up their shipping origin city by entering the details which include the - company name, phone, street address, city, state, province, zip code, and country. The store origin address helps in generating the cost of shipping for the seller’s products.
Offer Multiple Shipping Carriers To Customers
On the web store's frontend, the customers can add the products into the cart and can proceed to the checkout. The customers can check the shipping method on the check out as well as on the order review page & will successfully place the order with the selected shipping method.
