Australia Post is the leading provider of shipping services to e-commerce companies in Australia. Australia Post Marketplace Add-On extension has been designed for owners of e-commerce stores based in Australia who want to integrate Australia Post Shipping into their e-commerce store.
With the help of this useful shipping add-on, the admin and the sellers can provide their customers with the option of selecting the Australia Post shipping method to deliver their shipments. This method of shipment allows products to be shipped within Australia and internationally. The extension calculates the shipping charges as per the destination address of the admin or the vendor displays the shipping methods applicable to the customer on the checkout page.

To use this extension, a separate Australia Post shipping account is needed.

How Does The Extension Works?
Setting Up Australia Post Shipping
The admin set up the module by entering the API key fetched from the Australian Postal account, can set the method name visible during checkout, set the handling fee, allow sellers to integrate their Australian Post details with the webstore, etc.
Australia Post Shipping For Marketplace Sellers
The main feature of this add-on is that it supports all marketplace vendors who will help customers get the product delivered efficiently by using the Australian Post as a shipping method.
The seller in their account section of the website can easily add up their Australian Post account API Key, which helps sellers provide shipping for their products and benefit from shipping charges. Note - If the admin selects the option "No" to Save Australia Post Details while configuring the add-on, in this case, the customer will also be able to use the Australian Post to deliver the products to the sellers.
Get Live Australian Post Shipping Rates
Now, when the customer adds the product of the seller to the cart and goes to checkout, the customer can see the list of shipping methods available from the Australia Post for shipment at the price of each method.
Australia Post Domestic & International Shipping
The customer selects one of the methods according to their requirements. On the order review page, the customer will be able to see the shipping method that he has chosen and then proceed to the next step in making the payment.
Shipment Generate From Marketplace Seller Panel
In order for the sellers to manage their orders, the admin must set the "Allow Sellers to Manage Orders" option to "Yes" in the back-end admin settings, otherwise, the sellers will not be able to manage their orders on their own.
Send Tracking Information To Customers
Finally, after the order has been placed by the customer, the order can be effectively managed by the seller. The seller may generate an invoice, enter a tracking number, and then generate the shipment(s) for the ordered product.
