Overview

Note - This module is an add-on of Webkul's Marketplace Module. To use this module, you must have purchased and installed Multi-Vendor Marketplace first.

Advanced Commission Marketplace Add-On allows the store admin to set fixed or percentage-based commission according to store category, seller assigned categories, and seller products. Moreover, the admin can also create fixed or percent-based commission rules applied to different product price range. With this extension, the marketplace owners can manage a more advanced commission model for the vendors depending on the market, products, categories, and other business factors.

Business Value

As an owner of the marketplace, you may want to customize the commission rates more independently. With this marketplace add-on, the admin gets the freedom to set commission rates more specifically for every seller product, particular seller assigned category, or set a global category commission rate applying to all the marketplace sellers' products. The commission rates can be set as- either fixed or percentage-based.

For example - If a customer buys a seller product for $200 and the fixed type commission is set as 20. Then, the admin will get $20 for this sale. Also, if the percent type commission is set as 20%, then the admin will get $40. Moreover, the admin can create commission rules for different price ranges. So, if any product lies in that price range, the specified commission will be applied automatically.

Another example - If a customer buys a seller product for $200 and the fixed type commission rule is set as 20 for the price range of $150 to $250. Then, the admin will get $20 as a commission and inversely if the percentage type commission rule is set, then the admin will get $40 commission on the same product.

How Does The Extension Work?

Commission Per Seller Product

The admin can set the commission for the particular seller product and can also decide the type of commission on that.

Commission Per Store Category

The admin can also set the commission for the particular category and that commission will be applied to all the products under that category.

Commission On Seller Categories

The admin can set the commission for the seller-assigned categories too. That means the commission will be applied to all the seller products under that assigned category.

Commission Based On Rules

The admin can make commission rules for the products on the basis of the price range and that rule will be applied for every product within that price range.

Note - The admin cannot create a new commission rule for the already existing product price range.
