Note - This module is an add-on of Webkul's Marketplace Module. To use this module, you must have purchased and installed Multi Vendor Marketplace first.
With the help of this module, the admin can set commissions for products, categories and particular seller categories. The admin can use commission rules also. If any product lies under various categories on which the admin has set the commission, then in this case the highest commission will be applicable on the product. Commission scheme is the primary revenue model for any multi-vendor shop. Shop owners who are building their marketplace, commission system is a useful extension for them. The admin can use commission rule also which will be based on product price.
Use Case of Advanced Commission Marketplace Add-On -
Running a marketplace is hard and as a store owner, you will need a lot of resources. So having a mature business model is vital. Commission mechanism is one of the mature business concepts. Using commission extension store owner can set commission on various parameters. Product commission, category commission, vendor commission & global commission are main four commission types. On every successful transaction, the store owner will get the commission. The store owner has full freedom to manage the commission system.
This module is very useful for the admin as he can set commission for products, categories and seller categories and can generate revenue for himself. The commission can either be fixed or a percentage of the total cost. If the admin sets Commission rule as ‘No’, then the admin has to select the commission type as well as set the commission per category.
e.g. Let’s say a customer has bought three products of $5, $100, $195 respectively from the same seller. The total sale of the seller is $300 and the default commission rate is 20, then if the Commission Type is “Fixed” then commission amount will be $20.00 and if the Commission Type is “Percent” then Commission value will be $60.00

Workflow of Advanced Commission Marketplace Add-On -
After the successful installation of Magento2 Marketplace Advanced commission module admin can see the configuration panel under Stores > Configuration > Webkul > Marketplace Advanced Commission. If admin sets Commission rule as No, then the admin has to select the commission type as well as set the commission per category.
Admin will also be able to set the commission for each category under Products > Categories. The admin can set the seller category commission under Customer > All Customer and select the seller for whom the admin wants to set the commission and then go to Category Commission.
Admin can set the commission on each product under Product > Catalog > Manage Product >Prices. If admin selects Use Commission Rule as “Yes”, then the commission will apply according to commission rule, Marketplace Management > Manage Commission Rules. Admin can add/edit the Commission rule. Admin has to enter the price range, amount, commission type for commission rule.
The seller can also check from “My order History” the amount that the seller will get and the commission of the admin for each order.
