Knowledge base FAQ extension allows the admin to display an interactive question and answer section on the storefront. The admin can create various categories and show multiple questions and answers in them. The customers can search for questions and like or dislike the answer.

Use Case of Knowledge Base FAQ -

As customers have lots of queries before they make a sale. Different types of questions are asked by customers. These queries can be related to pre-sale, technical support, general information, etc. Not only questions, sometimes the customers require information which are indirectly related to the products or services. Using, knowledge base FAQ extension, the admin will be able to display different types of frequently asked questions on the storefront.

Features of Knowledge Base FAQ -

  • Set FAQ - title, URL, sort order, status, store-view.
  • WYSIWYG content editor for FAQ.

Work Flow of Knowledge Base FAQ -

After installing the module, the admin will first set the FAQ search title for the front-end. For adding a new question, the admin will go to 'Webkul FAQ>Add FAQ'. The admin needs to enter the title (question), URL, content (answer), sort order, status, and select the store view.

Now, after creating all the frequently asked questions, the admin will create FAQ categories by going to 'Webkul FAQ>Add/Manage FAQ Category'. The admin will set the category name, code, status, and select the store view. After creating the category, the admin will then select the FAQs from the list and click 'Save' button.

For displaying the knowledge base FAQ section, the admin needs to put the following block code on any CMS page:-
