Overview

Using the Job Board extension, the admin has the leverage to create and manage separate sections for job offers within a store. These job offers can be placed under job categories created by the admin. Also, the admin allows multiple file extensions for uploading the resumes. The candidates can search and filter for the desired job profiles in the front end and apply for the same. The candidates can apply through job applications and upload resumes as well, which the admin can go through. This extension is quite beneficial as the admin of the store can offer employment opportunities to candidates by posting job vacancies.  The interested candidates will find a separate section which eases the job search process for the applicants. They can easily filter the job profiles and upload resumes and apply through a job application for the same.

Business Value

Business entrepreneurs focus on providing users with the best features with their online stores so as to match up with the ongoing e-commerce trends. The job board is one of them as it offers employment opportunities. These features suit best the users or aspirants who are looking for job opportunities. The users just need to navigate to a single Job Listing page on the front and find various job vacancies, without having to go hither and thither.

The aspirants can filter and search for the desired job profile and view its details and apply for it by filling in a few details and uploading the resume. The store owner will find the job applications and even apply them on behalf of the applicant. The Job Board eases things on aspirants' part as applying for job postings becomes easier as there is no fuss of filling in lengthy details for applying for any job.

Features List

How Does The Extension Work?

Initially, the admin configures the Job Board general settings where fields such as the admin name and email id, landing page head title, allowed extensions for resume, etc. Further, the admin has to configure the settings under manage jobs, manage categories and view applications submenu options of the Job Board option.

Add Multiple Job Listings

Under manage jobs, the admin creates and manages various job offers and views the jobs which are already created. To create new jobs, the admin needs to configure fields such as job category and designation, eligibility and location, skills required, etc.   The admin can easily enable, disable or delete any job if required.

Create Job Categories

The admin can create new job categories for which fields such as category name and sort order are configured. Already created job categories can be viewed by the admin and the admin can enable, disable or delete any job category if need be.

View Job Applications

Under job applications, the admin can view all the applications for multiple job profiles which are applied by the applicants from the front. One of the best features of this extension is that it allows the admin to apply for job postings on behalf of the applicants. For this, the admin needs to fill in the details such as first and last name, educational qualification, job experience, current/ previous job position and employer name, and upload a resume.

Job Application Email Notifications

An email notification is sent to both the admin and the applicant as soon as they save the job application details. Also, the admin chooses the email templates.

Job Board - Careers Section
