Facebook has developed bots for the messenger that do communication with the customers. The businesses set up bots on their Facebook business page for giving information to their customers. The Facebook chatbot extension will enable the admin to integrate messenger bot with the store. The chatbot can send and receive messages from multiple customers simultaneously. A Facebook Access Token key is required. Log in to your Facebook Business account and create an app. You don't need to pay anything for the account and app creation.

Workflow of Facebook Chat Bot -

After getting the access token key from Facebook, go to Stores>Configuration>Chatbot. Set the module status as enabled, and then enter the access token and verification token keys. Enter the content for the chatbot replies - salutation, salutation message, not found, welcome greeting, and product search. Then, enter the various keywords for the product search.

Now, on the Facebook messenger, the customers can type your business page name and click get started. The chatbot will send a salutation message to the user and show a product from the store. The user can type a product name and if it matches the product search keywords, the user will see the product in the messenger.
