Salesforce is an American cloud-based software company headquartered in San Francisco, California. It provides customer relationship management (CRM) service and also sells a complementary suite of enterprise applications focused on customer service, marketing automation, analytics, and application development.

Salesforce Connector extension allows merchants to automatically synchronize Magento store data with Salesforce Online CRM. It is the next generation extension enhancing the features of e-commerce and CRM, having B2B concepts. Magento online store data is being synchronized with Salesforce in realtime sync for customers, categories, products (all product types), orders (guest & registered), and contact us as Salesforce Leads. The idea behind the concept is to increase data integrity, maintain proper inventory of stock, real-time order generation, provide brilliant customer care services, and much more.

How Does The Extension Works?

Real-Time/Automatic Synchronization

After the successful installation of the module, the admin can enable or disable the automatic synchronization from the backend of Magento store for categories, users, orders, products, and contact us. Automated syncing provides all data to get export from Magento to Salesforce CRM automatically for new or updated data.

 

Manual Synchronization

If the admin set automatic synchronization is disabled, manual synchronization will active. With that, the agent will have control to choose the data which they want to sync with Salesforce org. The agent can export all and certain data from Magento to Salesforce.

 

Category Mapping

This module will give you an intuitive user-friendly interface that will provide all Salesforce data fields at the Magento store for seamless category mapping. This will allow merchants to map all Magento categories with Salesforce along with the mapping option for price-book(to store product pricing at salesforce end) and category image will sync as file or document. Apart from that, the merchant can synchronize the category manually by exporting all categories to the Salesforce account.

 

Product Mapping

The merchant can export products automatically from Magento to Salesforce. In case automatic product synchronization is disabled, the merchant can synchronize specified and all products with a single click. Whenever any product gets listed in the product list this will be synced from Magento store to Salesforce. Also, if customers or admin updated their product information into Magento, this will reflect in the Salesforce account. This will sync all product types such as Simple, Grouped, Configurable, Bundle, Virtual, Downloadable.

 

Customer Mapping

Merchant can synchronize the customer details automatically as well as manually depends on the configuration. Whenever a new account created over the Magento store this will get exported on the Salesforce account. Also, if existing customer updated their information on Magento panel this will get synchronized at Salesforce end.

 

Order Mapping

If order mapping synchronization is set as automatic then there is no need to do anything, orders will be automatically synchronized from Magento to Salesforce. Else, if auto-order synchronization is disabled then admin can select the orders manually and sync from Magento to Salesforce. So, whenever any order gets placed on the Magento store, the order information such as tax, shipment details, etc. will be synced over the Salesforce end.

 

Leads Mapping

When automatic Leads Synchronization is enabled then all the Contact Us Queries will be synchronized with the Salesforce leads. Admin can see the contact us details in inform view in a single click on the contact. A mapping table is maintained where the merchant can check which contact is synchronized with which Salesforce ID.
