Note - You need to have Node js already installed on your server to use our Chat System extension. Also, if you are unable to configure Node js and Socket.io on Magento Cloud Edition then we will configure it on a separate server.

Chat System extension allows you to set up a live chat messaging feature on your web-store. With a chat system, the customer can communicate in real-time with the store owner or agent. The customer can use the chat system for receiving instant & quick answers to the questions. The admin can create different chat agents who can handle and reply to the customer queries from the store backend. Providing the customer to get all the answers to their queries and doubts instantly.

How Does The Extension Works?

Start/Stop Chat Support

Set a name for the chat system and upload an image file for the profile. Click the Start Server button to make the chat system live.


Customize Customer Chat Window

The admin can easily set up the front-end chat window from the backend panel easily. Here the admin can set the position of the chat window to be displayed on the frontend, can change the background image of the window, can change the header color of the window and text as well.


Create Multiple Chat Agents 

The admin can easily create multiple chat agents for its store. The chat agents can answer the customers’ queries from the Magento backend. The admin needs to enter complete agent information for records. As well as the admin can assign different user roles to agents like Chat Managers as well as chat agents.


Quickly Start Chat From Storefront

The customer can easily communicate with chat agents and clear out their queries and doubts from the window itself. The customer needs to login to the web store for starting up the conversation with chat agents. The customers can also update their profile picture anytime that will be displayed on the chat window.


Upload File Attachments

The customer can attach relevant files from the chat window, give feedback to the agents, can change their availability status, send emojis, and also in case of any miscommunication the customer can report the agent to the admin.


Auto Assign Chat Agent

The admin or an assigned agent needs to login to the Magento backend for replying to the messages. The agents can view the list of online customers that have been assigned to them. Every customer is assigned to a chat agent automatically. The chat agents can also send file attachments to the customers. The chat agents can click the attachment icon for sending an image, document, or a zip file to the customers.


Agent Feedback & Ratings

The admin can also view the ratings and feedback of the agent given by the customers from the chat window. The admin can also delete, approve, and disapprove any rating and feedback from the Action drop-down list. Also, the admin can view the chat reports submitted by the customers.



For Store Owner
