B2B Marketplace extension converts your basic e-commerce store into a marketplace. Various partners can sign up to the store and start selling their products to buyers. The admin can earn commission from the partners for each product sale. The partners can add products from the front-end, mentioning all the product details. Partner dashboard is available for viewing orders, sales chart, reviews, and contacting the admin.

This extension includes- RMA, Mass Upload, Bulk Order Quote, Custom Attribute, Custom Options. These are additional features and functions which are already included in the B2B Marketplace extension.

Use Case of B2B Marketplace -

With the use of B2B Marketplace, the admin will be able to offer more products to its buyers. The buyers will have the option to purchase products from any partner in the marketplace. Buyers can compare the similar products from different partners. Having various partners, the buyers won't have to visit other websites to find the products.

Work Flow of B2B Marketplace -

Let us now understand the work-flow of the B2B Marketplace:-

Module Configuration : After the installation, the admin will set global commission, product approval, email-id. Select default attribute set for partners, set partner product status as enabled/disabled. Enter RMA policy, and then specify the minimum quantity for a quote.

Partner Sign Up : The partners will have a separate page for signing up to the marketplace. Here they will provide the basic details such as- name, email, payment information. They partner and buyers will have different menu options. 

Partner Attributes : The admin can create partner attributes, that will enable partners to provide more information about them. Partners can enter their information either at the time sign up or update the same from Partner Account. 

Partner Product : The partners can add products from the front-end. They can provide name, description, stock, price, special price, sku, images. Add, edit, or delete products from the front-end. The admin can manage the partner's product from the back-end.

Custom Options : The partners can create custom options for their products. Such as - radio button, multi-select, drop-down, check-box. Set the title, required option, sorting.

Custom Quote : The buyers can quote for products, they can mention the quantity and the price. The partners can check the received quotes and edit them. Both the buyer and the partner can do communication via quote.

Manage RMA : The buyers can create RMA request from their My Account panel. First, they will select the order, select the product, enter any information, upload image. Then, the admin can manage the RMA request from the back-end. The buyer and admin can do communication through RMA.

Admin Benefits - The admin will earn commissions for every product sale made by the partners. The number of products will increase in the store, the buyers will have more options to choose.

Partner Benefits -  The partners will get a platform for selling their products. The user traffic will be more in a marketplace as compared to a basic online store. The partners can upload products using a csv file. They can manage their own products, view orders, manage quotes from the front-end.

Buyer Benefits - The buyers get to select products from multiple partners. They can buy products in bulk using quote system. Create RMA request for product return and refund. They can compare products from different partners, view comments and ratings.
