Back to topAmazon Associate is one of the first online affiliate marketing programs of Amazon. When website owners who are associates create links or products within their web store, the associates earn a commission when customers click on them and then buy the products from Amazon.
This extension allows the admin of the webstore to connect with Amazon Affiliate program for advertising or offering its products on their website and earn a commission in return. It also provides the admin with the convenience of referring customers to a trusted site where they can immediately purchase the products you advertise. So when they make the purchase, you can earn your affiliate commission.
Customers can see the Amazon products listed on your website. The customers can add those products to the Amazon cart and can go for a checkout. After that, the customer gets redirected to the Amazon store for completing the purchase. Here, the shipping and purchase operations are all handled by the Amazon store.
Account & Pricing:
In order to go for the Amazon Affiliate program, you need to have an Affiliate account. Click Amazon Affiliate Account to create one. Check here for Amazon Advertising Fee Structure.
Use Case:
The admin will be able to fetch the products from Amazon Affiliate. After that, the products can be listed within the webstore very easily. The admin first has to search for the product and then he can import the product. Multiple products can also be fetched and listed within the webstore as required.
At the web store frontend, the customers will have more product offerings to choose from when they visit your webstore. The customers will find an Amazon label on the Amazon products. It is for the identification of the Amazon products.
The customer will add the Amazon product to the cart as usual, and it gets added to the Amazon cart that's there for checkout of Amazon products. The customer completes his purchase after redirecting to the Amazon store. The shipping & payment are all taken care by Amazon itself.

For easy purchase and shipping Amazon cart is at the behest of the customers. Customers are redirected via the Amazon Cart in your store to the Amazon site for making the purchase.
