Age Verification

Age Verification allows the admin to restrict the particular age group of the customers from accessing the category, product, and cms pages. The admin can set the minimum age required for the customers to access the store content. 

The admin can enable age restriction pop-up for the users who want to access the store content which includes category page, product page, and the cms pages. The admin can easily configure the pop-up content and image from the admin panel. The admin can also decide on which pages of the store, age restriction pop-up should be applied.

The user will need to verify the age to access the store. The user will be redirected to another website if the age is not verified or the user decided to leave the page or store.

Use Case

Let’s take a scenario wherein a store owner wants to sell the store products to a particular age group of the customers and also wants to hide store categories, product pages, and cms page from them. 

Now, when a customer will visit the store, a pop-up will display to the customer to verify the age. Only after verifying the age, the customer can access the store. The customer can also leave the store without verifying the age. 

Using age verification, the admin can set the minimum age required to access the store, modify the age restriction pop-up content, image, and decide how it will be displayed to the customers. The admin can decide where should be age restriction pop-up applies i.e category page, product page, cms page, or all.

How Does The Extension Works?

After the installation of this module, the admin can configure the module accordingly. The admin can decide the minimum age required for the users to access the store. The admin can enable the age verification for the different store view as per need. 

The admin can also customize the pop-up that will display to the users. The admin can upload an image that will display on the pop-up. The admin can enter the pop-up title, pop-up content title, select the method to verify user age i.e date of birth, checkbox option, and yes/no button.

The admin can enter the leave button URL that will work when a customer will leave the store without verifying the age. The admin has many more options to customize the pop-up accordingly.

Next, a pop-up will be displayed to the users to verify the age to access the store. Only after verifying the age, the user will be able to access the store else, the user will be redirected to another website as configured by the admin.
