Overview

It is essential to understand what shoppers think about your products, and If they would like to leave a comment during the checkout to improve their shopping experience. The Checkout Order Comments extension offers a great shopping experience. It allows shoppers to add comments, special notes, messages, or delivery instructions to orders during the checkout process.

The order comment box will appear at the checkout page under the payment method section, where customers can insert their comments or special requests for that particular order. Store admins can restrict the order comment character at the checkout page, and read the comment from the order grid and view page.

Allows customers to add their comments about the order during the checkout process.

Order Comment Field Expanded Or Collapsed By Default

You can display the order comment field expanded (opened) or collapsed (closed) by default on the checkout page. Also, you can choose to display with no expand/collapse.

Restrict The Order Comment Characters

You can specify the maximum characters allowed for the order comment at the checkout page. For example: if "300" is specified, customers won't be able to enter an order comment with a character greater than 300.

Order Comment On Customer Account Page

You can show or hide order comments on the customer account page. If enabled, customers can read the comment left during the checkout on their account ("My Account -> My Orders -> View Order.").

Order Comment On Sale Order Pages in Backend

The order comment will appear at the order grid and view pages in the admin panel.

Support Responsive Design

The extension is fully responsive to mobile devices. The order comment box looks great on any device type and screens size.

You can get the order comment placed at the checkout via API.

Order Comment On Confirmation Email

You can insert the order comment on the email template to appear on the order confirmation email.
