    In Magento 2 by default, is not possible to import coupon codes in bulk, and the default functionality to generate coupon codes is limited. 

    The Coupon Import extension adds the ability to import coupon codes in bulk. It allows importing a small or large number of coupon codes at once for cart price rules. The Coupon Import extension is a useful tool for transferring coupon codes between Magento installations. It significantly saves time on managing coupon codes. You can bulk import your personalized coupon codes using plain-text (copy/paste), CSV, or TXT files.

    Import Coupon Codes In Bulk

    You can import an unlimited number of coupon codes via plain-text, CSV, or text files. All imported coupon codes appear directly at the grid, and will automatically inherit all setting values from the main cart price rule. You can transfer coupon codes between Magento shop/installations or transfer coupon codes generated by other platforms/systems to Magento. 

     

    Import In Bulk Via Plain-text

    You can enter or paste a list of coupon codes to import, one coupon code per line, and import them all with a single click.

     

    Import In Bulk Via CSV And TXT Files

     You can import an unlimited number of coupon codes via a CSV or TXT file to any cart price rule.

     

    Support Sample Import Files

    The extension comes with a sample CSV and TXT import files, it appears when selecting the import type.  You can download the sample file to prepare your CSV or TXT import files. 

     

    Errors And Success Messages 

    The extension displays detailed error messages on each import, such as duplicate coupon codes import, not allowed file types, and more error messages. When the import goes well, a success message display along with details of the total coupon codes imported.
