Back to topProduct Inquiry extension for Magento 2 helps store owners to increase sales by clearing customer’s product-related questions. Both registered, and unregistered customers can submit an inquiry about the product from the category and product pages. Stores admins can be notified by email whenever a new inquiry is submitted and manage all inquiries from the backend.
The extension supports two form types (popup and new page), up to four additional form fields (text, checkbox, and text area types), and an attachment in the inquiry form. Customers can attach a file when submitting the inquiry. Also, the extension support all product types and Google reCAPTCHA to avoid spam inquiries.
Account & Pricing
To start using Google reCAPTCHA service on the extension, you need a Google API Key. You can register to get an API Key here. The registration and service are FREE.

Category Page
You can enable the product inquiry to all categories or per single category, allowing customers to submit an inquiry right from the category page.
Product Page
You can enable the product inquiry to all products or separately per a single product. Configure the inquiry button text (E.g. "Inquiry", "Ask Question") globally or separately per product.
Support All Product Types
The extension works with simple, configurable, bundle, downloadable, virtual, and grouped products.
Two Inquiry Form Types
The extension comes with two types of forms, a popup form and a form on a new page. You can display the inquiry form in a customizable popup, for a quick submission. Or, display on a new page. Four layout types available: empty, 1 column, 2 columns with right bar, and two columns with left bar layout.
You can display the product image, SKU, and name in the popup form. Configure the message to display after the inquiry is successfully submitted.
Optional Form Fields
The extension support three optional fields: telephone, attachment, and subject. You can optionally choose to enable any of them at the inquiry form. If the attachment field is enabled, customers will be able to upload an attachment during the form submission.
Extra Form Fields
The extension support up to four extra fields of type: text, checkbox, and text area. You can enable any of the extra fields in the form to get more information from customers. Configure each field label from the admin panel.
Privacy Policy Field On The Form
You can enable or disable the privacy policy field in the inquiry form. Useful for GDPR compliance. The extension support WYSIWYG editor to format privacy message in the backend
Support Google ReCaptcha
You can enable Google reCAPTCHA to avoid spam or bots inquiries and protect your website from abuse. Whenever a new product inquiry is submitted, it checks for the spambots and submits the inquiry only after the successful human verification.
Email Notifications To Admin
Store admins can receive instant e-mail notification for all inquiries submitted at the storefront. Define the receiver email, bcc emails, sender name, email from the admin panel.
Email Notifications To Customers
The extension supports automatic reply notifications to customers. You can enable the auto-reply feature in the admin panel to automatically notify customers by email after their inquiry submission. Specify the auto-reply sender.
Customizable Email Templates
You can customize both admin and customer email templates to fit your business needs. All details such as name, email, telephone, product SKU, product name, store, message, the status can be included in the notifications.
Responsive To Mobile Devices
The extension is fully responsive. The mobile-friendly design allows customers to submit an inquiry on any device type and screen size.
Product Inquiry Management
The extension allows managing all inquiries from the admin panel. You can :
- add, edit and view any inquiry data (name, email, telephone, message, attachment, status, product details, additional info) in the backend;
- mass change inquiry status (new, processing, and completed) and mass delete inquiry from the admin grid.
