Back to topMagento 2 by default auto-approves new signed-up accounts, which makes it not easy to control and manage new customers more efficiently.
Customer Approval extension allows you to take full control of any new account registration at your store. You can automatically or manually approve real customers' accounts from the backend and reject all spam or fake accounts.
Store administrators will receive an email notification on every account registration and can approve one or more customers at the same time. Each customer will receive an email notification as soon as the account is approved or rejected. The extension can be configured from the backend, per each website, or store separately.

Approve Account Manually Or Automatically
The extension gives an ability to control customer account creation conveniently in the backend. You can auto-approve each account after registration or approve and disapproved each registered account manually from the admin grid and under the customer account edit page.
Customizable Messages
You can define the pending and disapproved messages from the backend. The pending message will appear after the customer creates a new account. If a customer's account is rejected, the rejection notice will show when they try to log in.
Admin Notification
The extension enables you to notify store administrators any time a new account is created. You can enable or disable the admin notification, set one or multiple email addresses to receive notifications, specify the email sender and email template. You can create and use your own email template instead of the default one.
Customer Notification
Store admins can choose to notify the customer on account approval or rejection. Specify the email sender and, select the email template to use for approval and disapproved accounts, either the default emails template or your custom one.
