Tree-Nation "Auto-Offer" service allows you to automatically offer a tree each time a customer buys a product from your shop. Your customer then receives an email from Tree-Nation with the details of the tree(s) you planted for them.
What This Extension Does
This Tree-Nation Webhook extension enables you to connect your Magento account with your Tree-Nation forest account. Once installed and your forest account set up, it will automatically trigger trees each time you generate a new sale. This allows you to run a 1 product purchased = 1 tree planted campaign and have your customers receive their tree-gift URLs by email for each product purchased.
This extension is therefore ideal for e-commerces who want to plant trees and offset the emissions of their shipping and also emissions linked to the manufacturing of the product. Tree-Nation takes care of sending the tree-gift emails to your clients so it requires no programming on your side. The extension will generate no visual change on your website, but we recommend you communicate on the 1 product 1 tree concept. Please contact us to receive our communication package and tips.
Account & Pricing
To get started you will need to register on Tree-Nation to set up and personalize your forest. Please click here to create your forest on Tree-Nation. Once your account is created please go to the Auto-Offer section to set up your "1 product 1 tree" campaign and to receive your unique Tree-Nation ID. You will need to paste this ID into the extension settings. If you prefer, you can email us at auto-offer@tree-nation.com.
The extension is free to use. But you will need to fund the trees you offer to your clients. Our fixed price is 0.20€ per tree.
Features
1 Product – 1 Tree Campaign
- 1 tree will be offered with each product purchase.
Example: a user makes 1 purchase which includes 2 x Product A and 3 x Product B, this user will receive an email with his 5 trees offered by your brand. - Option to limit to specific products.
Example: product id 123 and 124 will trigger a tree planted but product 125 won't. - Option to limit to 1 tree per order
Example: The purchase of 5 products will only generate 1 tree.
100% Automated
With this extension, once you completed the set up of your forest on Tree-Nation, the system will be totally automated. Just watch your forest grow as you sell your products. This is also a way to receive great and positive feedbacks from your clients.

Reforestation Project + Species Selection
Each time a purchase triggers a tree, our system will automatically assign a specific species and send an email to the customer with his unique tree-gift URL to be able to view and collect his tree on the Tree-Nation platform.

Your Forest
All the trees planted thanks to you will be visible in your branded forest. Your forest includes:
- All the trees you funded
- A tree counter
- A CO2 counter
- An impact page with lots of stats
- Updates of the projects you support
