The Checkout GeoIP module uses the MaxMind database to detect the current location of your customers. The module functionality immediately predetermines country, city, and province based on user IP. It helps visitors to fill the address fields when creating a user account.

The Checkout GeoIP extension is compatible with the best Magento 2 checkout modules. During filling checkout fields, the module automatically completes some address fields. Easy-To-Use Configuration
The module gives you the opportunity to select from 3 data providers: MaxMind Database, MaxMind Service, IpStack. In the backend, you can always use the button for automatic database download. The updated database will let users get the last possible and relevant geolocation information. Within the configuration, you can modify the MaxMind database options. For instance, you can choose between free and paid database editions. There is also a field where you have to specify the license key once you receive it at the MaxMind.
