Back to topWeChat is a Chinese social media (instant messaging, commerce, and payment services) mobile application software developed by Tencent. It was first released in 2011, and by 2017, it was one of the largest standalone messaging apps by monthly active users, with over 963 million monthly active users. It is widely known as one of the world's most innovative and versatile app, as well as China's "App For Everything", with numerous unique functions and platforms ranging from 'payment' to 'social media' to 'services' to 'shopping' and more, that are equivalent to multiple Google Play or Apple Store's apps, but merged into one.
The module allows your customers to log in to your Magento store in the WeChat browser like through your WeChat Official account, and also offers an option to bind customers' WeChat account with their existing Magento accounts. You can also disable the bind function on the module setting page.
In the WeChat browser, after a customer clicks the WeChat icon on the login page, it will display an option to bind his WeChat account to an existing Magento store account. If the customer prefers binding, he must enter an existing Magento store account and password. If not, he will log into your store automatically. There is also a switch to disable the bind option on the module setting page. By enabling the auto-login option on the backend, customers will log into your Magento store seamlessly with no bind option.
