Overview
Back to topThe SunflowerBiz Product Shipping Limit Module allows you to restrict shipping methods depending on products. You can assign a shipping method to a product on the product management page, and also you can set your own shipping rules.
When customers are trying to purchase multiple products assigned with different shipping methods, you can set the shipping rules in 2 situations: When products have the same Shipping Methods or When products do NOT have the same Shipping Methods.
Features:
- Assign shipping methods to each product.
- Set shipping rules when multiple products assigned with different shipping methods added to the cart.
- This module will not change how the existing shipping module works.
- Two options when products have the same shipping methods
- Restrict shipping methods based on products
Option 1:
When products in the cart have the same shipping Methods, you have two options:
- Only display the same Shipping Methods.
- Display all product Shipping Methods available for all the purchased products.
Example:
- Add Product A and Product B to the cart.
- Product A applies to Shipping A and Shipping B.
- Product B applies to Shipping A and Shipping C.
- The same shipping method is Shipping A.
- If you choose to display the same shipping methods:
- Shipping A will appear when checkout.
- If you choose to display all available product shipping methods
- Shipping A, B, and C will appear when checkout.
Option 2:
When products do NOT have the same Shipping Methods, you have two options:
- Do not display any Shipping Methods
- Display Predefined Shipping Methods
Example:
- Add Product A and Product B to the cart,
- Product A applies to Shipping A
- Product B applies to Shipping B
- If you choose not to display any Shipping Methods
- Note saying no shipping methods available will appear when checkout.
- If you choose to display predefined shipping methods
- Predefined shipping methods will appear when checkout.
