This module integrates the short message services provided by Tencent Cloud and Alibaba Cloud for your customers to quickly log in to your Magento store by entering the verification code received from the short messages on their smartphones. Tencent Cloud SMS and Alibaba Cloud SMS support sending short messages to both Chinese and international phone numbers and also provide free SMS package.
After installing our module, the SMS login button will display on both the login and guest checkout page. After clicking the SMS login button, it will display an input box for customers to enter their phone number to receive the verification code. Next to the input box, there is a Send Verification Code button. After clicking it, it will auto-send a short message to your customer’s phone number. As soon as the customer enters the verification code, the system will auto verify the code without refreshing the page. If the verification code goes correct, it will jump to the customer account page and notify customers to edit their account information if necessary. If the verification code is wrong, it displays an error: Invalid Verification Code.
Our module creates a Phone field for each customer. It will auto search if the customer exists by the phone number. If not exist, it will use default customer data to auto-create a new customer account.

How To Purchase Alibaba Cloud SMS
- Create and log in to an Alibaba Cloud account.
- Make sure that your account is an enterprise account. If your account is an individual account, upgrade to an enterprise account. Currently, Alibaba Cloud SMS is only available to enterprise accounts.
- Make sure that you have added a credit card or a PayPal account as the payment method.
- If you already have an AccessKey, you can use this AccessKey to access Alibaba Cloud SMS. If you do not have an AccessKey or want to use a new AccessKey, you can create one.
