Store Fulfillment for Adobe Commerce by Walmart Commerce Technologies is an advanced omnichannel fulfillment solution that delivers a seamless  buy online/pickup in store or curbside (BOPIS) customer experience and maximizes store employees' productivity by providing an end-to-end omnichannel fulfillment workflow that is enabled through a mobile device. 

Store Fulfillment can help reduce costs while increasing conversion rates and customer satisfaction by:    

  • Turning physical stores into pickup points and fulfillment centers
  • Helping utilize existing store-level inventory allocation and improve supply issues to drive timely local fulfillment 
  • Increasing order fulfillment accuracy and speed 

Functions and Capabilities 

Designed for US-based Adobe Commerce merchants of all sizes, key functions and capabilities  of Store Fulfillment for Adobe Commerce include:

  • Convenient customer pickup options: Customers can easily see product availability and select a store to pickup items — either curbside or in-store — during their online purchase.
  • Customer email notifications: Customers receive order information and specific pickup instructions at every step.
  • Customer check-in: Customers can use their mobile device to notify store employees when they’ve arrived and provide details such as parking spot number and vehicle make and model.
  • Employee picking: Store employees can accurately pick orders placed online for in-store or curbside fulfillment.
  • Employee order staging: Store employees can see the single and multi-order staging location prior to customer pick up, and can confirm the customer order number, due date, and pickup time.
  • Employee order handoff: Store employees can quickly handoff orders to customers, minimizing wait time.
  • Online visibility of in-store inventory: Merchants can easily show in-store availability to customers — crucial for driving online customers into stores.
  • Enhanced Inventory reservation model: Merchants can increase stock accuracy by updating stock information once the order fulfillment source is defined.

 

Merchant Requirements

  • Adobe Commerce version 2.4x license 
  • US-based 
  • SKU or UPC barcodes on all products sold 
  • Wi-Fi in physical stores or warehouses; 3mbps minimum Internet speed
  • Manage product inventory with Inventory Management for Adobe Commerce (formerly MSI)
  • Any Android or iOS mobile device used by store employees (store-provided or personal)

      • 1 GB RAM

    - Fixed an issue that caused an incorrect website code to be returned when installing the Store Fulfillment extension.
    - Fixed an issue for SKU integers that required the data type to be casted to string type during installation.
