Overview

The Splash extension for Magento provides a seamless integration for merchants to utilize the benefits of Splash on their Magento platform.

Overview

Splash Payments is an industry leading payment processor, with a distinct focus on the next generation of e-commerce merchants. Established in the height of the tech boom, Splash understands the unique challenges facing online sellers, and has created a customized payment platform to address those needs. Splash provides all the solutions necessary to keep the merchant’s business ahead of the competitive curve.

Thanks to the newly released Splash extension for Magento, managing and processing payments just got a whole lot easier. The extension for Magento provides all the perks of the Splash payment platform directly on your Magento storefront. The merchant enjoys more control over their payment processing, including the ability to customize their payment parameters, integrate the Splash PayFields (credit card payment field) directly on their checkout page, in a PCI compliant environment.

For example, Splash gives the merchant the ability to set specific fraud prevention guidelines, which would otherwise be strictly up to the discretion of the payment processor. With the extension for Magento, the merchant now has the power to set their own guidelines through their Splash portal, and they will now have more control over the payments on their Magento storefront.

This is just one example of how Splash, and the Splash extension for Magento, give the merchant more power and control over the payments they are accepting. Merchant’s will have the ability to customize the extension to accept the payment methods of their choice, accept payments from the countries/states of their choice, in addition to a variety of other options designed to maximize the benefits of both the user and merchant.

None of the benefits of the Splash extension come at a cost to the user experience of the merchant’s customers. The PayFileds integrates seamlessly onto any Magento storefront. Once the customer proceeds to the checkout page they will select the Splash option (usually titled “Credit Card,” but this is customizable), and the fully PCI compliant PayFields will appear integrated onto the Magento storefront. This means, that Magento users will still experience the same aesthetic presentation of the storefront, while the merchant enjoys all the benefits Splash has to offer.

Note: Using the Splash Payments extension for Magento requires a Splash payment account. Some additional fees may apply to a Splash Payment account.
