Overview

Spaaza provides cloud-based incentive marketing infrastructure for modern commerce. Use our incentive tools individually on your site, or combine them to form a powerful full-featured omnichannel loyalty program for your customers, employees, and influencers. Some of the world’s leading brands use Spaaza tools to make their business goals a reality on their web, mobile and in-store properties. Read more about Spaaza on our site and on our blog.

Merchants and site owners add the extension to allow our suite of incentive marketing tools to work in Magento. The extension enables bidirectional communication with the Spaaza API, so the incentives you have configured in Spaaza will work and provides hooks and basic visual components in your site.

All our promotions and campaigns are configurable by merchants in the Spaaza Console website and available to customers via the extension - see Spaaza for more details. Some examples of how the extension can be used:

  • Points and Loyalty Levels - customers earn points on every purchase, can see their points balance in the site, and achieve status levels and rewards that you define (e.g. when they reach 500 points a customer hits "Gold" status and gets a one-time coupon for 20% off an order).
  • Coupons and Vouchers - when a customer purchases an item you define in Spaaza, they receive a coupon providing them with a monetary discount on their next in-store or online purchase. The promotion is visible on the product page in the site, the coupon is visible at checkout on the site and in the app and the customer can choose when to redeem it.
  • Wallet - a percentage of a customer's order value, both online and in-store, is saved in a "wallet". The customer can see their wallet balance in the site and choose to use all or part of it to help pay for an order when they buy something.
  • Referral - when a customer signs up a friend, the friend gets a coupon to use on their first purchase. Once that purchase has been paid for, the existing customer also gets a coupon to use on their next order.
  • Temporary Campaigns - you configure a temporary campaign in the Spaaza interface to give double points for all customers who shop on a Monday. The promotion shows on the site and the customer sees their double points.
  • Customer Segments - define a customer segment in the Spaaza console website, such as "customers who live in Anytown and bought pants on a Saturday made by brand X." Configure a promotion to give those customers a discount on tops made by the same brand in your store. Track campaign performance in the Spaaza Console website.
  • CRM - customers are made visible in the Spaaza Console site via the extension. Detailed analytics are shown including purchases, other channels shopped in (in-store, mobile and others) and it is possible to split customers into segments and export those customers for marketing purposes.
  • iFrame - through the inclusion of an optional "suggest" module during composer installation, the Spaaza iFrame is activated which introduces configurable UI elements in Magento via an iFrame.

Account & Pricing

Using the Spaaza extension in Magento requires a separate Spaaza merchant account - this is not created during the installation of the extension. Get in touch with Spaaza to create your account. We have separate pricing for using our tools.

The Spaaza extension is currently suitable for medium to large merchants running from hundreds up to millions of orders per month. Please visit our site for more information and get in touch using our "Request a demo" link on the site to talk about becoming a customer.

Features & Functionality

  • Profile Synchronisation - bidirectional synchronization of the customer profile in Spaaza with the customer profile in Magento. This is done via the Spaaza REST API and includes, name, date of birth, address information, but not authentication details, which remain exclusively in Magento or in an SSO service. Data is synchronized in both directions to and from Magento and Spaaza, enabling a full omnichannel loyalty platform.
  • Internal Voucher API - a Magento-internal API to handle Spaaza-managed vouchers in the checkout.
  • Order Synchronisation - synchronization of orders between Magento and Spaaza to integrate with a customer's omnichannel orders from other channels such as POS, app, and social. This includes credit memos and returns.
  • External REST API - a set of API endpoints that allow Spaaza to communicate customer information and loyalty status and rewards with Magento.
