With its parcel, express and logistics services, they connect people and simplify the lives of their customers. DHL PACKSTATION is a service station which may be used as a destination for parcels. Customers may provide the information required to address a PACKSTATION as the delivery address and any parcel shipped with DHL will be delivered to that station. Customers may use any arbitrary PACKSTATION as destination and may pick up their parcel anytime they want.
This extension offers you, as a shop owner, the option to add an address field in the frontend where your customers may enter the DHL PACKSTATION information. Furthermore an option is added to search for DHL PACKSTATIONs and DHL Post Office outlets according to postal code and city and to select them via a map. Customers may accept the selected shipping address with just one click. Additionally the customer may change their shipping address to a valid PACKSTATION address in their accounts address book at anytime. Since the extension has access to the DHL database, the DHL PACKSTATION / DHL Post Office outlets listed are always up-to-date.
The post number needed to address any PACKSTATION will be saved to the additional street field. Depending on the selection of the customer, the street field is automatically filled with "Packstation" or "Postfiliale" (Post Office) info. This way, it is ensured a valid address entry is provided and no further change to any connected ERP system is needed.

No additional account with DHL is needed to use this extensions.
A Bing Maps Key is required to use Bing Maps.
