Store Locator extension, by PurpleTree, helps to show the physical stores that are related to your web store on Google Maps. Website users can see stores on the map as well as in a list view. Users can see a detailed description page and an image for every store. This extension does not use any location service for detection of current location. Example usage could involve a scenario where a Magento website owner sells garments on the website, and he also owns many physical stores in the town. The owner can use this extension to show the physical stores on a map.

This extension adds a new page where all store locations are listed. These are physical locations which can be viewed on a map. The admin can add many details related to each physical store, like Address, Latitude & Longitude, Image and contact numbers for the physical store. If there are several stores, the admin can easily export and import them using a spreadsheet.

Account & Pricing

To show the maps on any website, a Google Maps API Key is required. Additional fees apply. You will need a Google developer account for generating Google Maps API Key.

Google developer account creation is a separate process, not part of extension installation. Sign up/Sign In can be performed from here. Once you are logged into the Google developer account, API Keys for Google Maps can be generated by following this guide.
