Overview

Link Guest Orders to Customer Account is a Magento 2 extension developed by PIT solutions which automatically assigns guest orders to the existing customer account with the same email address during customer registration. By default Magento does not provides such functionality and it might be disturbing for the customers that they are not able to see their previous orders in the My Orders list in customers account page.

This extension is very easy to use and it does not require any technical skills. This extension is useful because by default Magento doesn't provide such functionality to link guest orders to a registered customer account. The extension works with all the devices including touch-based devices. Access to the functionality of this extension can be managed by user roles of administrators.

Features

  • During customer registration, it checks if any guest order exists with that email address and if exists then it assigns that to the customer account.
  • Automatically set default shipping and billing addresses to customer.
  • Allows configuring a follow-up email for guest orders which can ask customers to register.
  • Enable/ Disable the extension.
  • Enable/ Disable the follow-up email in extension.
  • Access control for admin users.
