By default, the "Date" type custom option has very few features in Magento. It only displays a text field and a JavaScript calendar box. There is no way to limit user selection, to set a different price per selected date, or to track availability of ordered days. This extension provides an alternative "Date" option for a customer. Website administrator can specify selectable date ranges, can set price per day, can disable holidays and weekends.

Purchased days become not available (out of stock) for other customers. JavaScript calendar helps customer to select applicable and available days. Just after selecting days, the days are counted and the product price is updated. Website administrator can see all ordered dates of the product. Thanks to these features, the module makes it possible to give something in rent.

Key features:

    • You can use specific price for a number of days or custom price for some period.
    • It is possible to specify a maximum number of orders (In Stock) per product.
    • You can disable holidays and weekends.
    • The same calendar can be used for multiple products.
    • All ordered dates can be seen on edit product page in the Magento admin panel.
    • Date range selected by customer is saved in a text field custom option. So it can be seen in the order view page and in the order confirmation emails.
