Monri Payments was founded in 2003. under name Webteh, as the first Internet Payment Gateway in southeast Europe. During the next 15 years we became the leading regional service provider for payment transactions and trusted partner of numerous financial institutions and merchants thus expending our services to card payment terminals with our SinglePOS solution. In 2019 Monri Payments became part of the Payten/Asseco SEE group. Monri Payments Platform was developed according to card payment industry and global payment schemes (Mastercard, Visa) guidelines to enable simple, fast and secure processing of financial transactions. Over the course of 15 years we established strong presence in Croatia, but also within the region (Bosnia&Hercegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Slovenia). For the last 2 years we are also present on the EU market. Our payment transaction processing system is PCI DSS Level 1 certified ensuring card data safety to card users and our merchant clients. We were the first Croatian non-financial institution to become PCI DSS Level 1 certified back in 2010. Additionally, according to global card payment schemes rules, we are registered for provision various services – ISO/MSP, Payment Service Provider and Payment Facilitator. We continuously develop new innovative services and features based on modern technologies and market demands with the purpose of adapting to our clients' needs in order to provide the best possible service. Our goal is to become the leading independent regional processor as well as on the major global processors. More than 500 satisfied clients within the region use one of our various services and we partner with more than 20 financial institutions.
