The extension provides your admins an ability to search not only for products, orders and customers with admin global search, but also to search for settings as well. That's easy as typing CTRL+F in your favorite browser! Just type it and the search bar will be activated. Start typing the desired setting name and almost immediately you will get a list of available search results. The nice thing of it is that you can select what you are looking for. It might be a Section, a Group or a Field. The result type will be shown under a result title. Under that information, you will see a path to the field in the settings. Additionally, Search isn't strict. For instance, you can type "Check order" and get "Check / Money order" in the results! But keep in mind, the more precise a request, the more precise the list of results. If there are no appropriate results, you can click on "... in Settings" to continue the search right there.

Once you have found the desired results, it's time to click on the most appropriate result and go to Store > Settings screen. You will be redirected automatically. The selected setting will be highlighted with yellow to make it brighter for you, if the selected result was a group or a field than it's group will be opened and the page will be scrolled automatically right to the results! If by some reason the field/group is hidden (for instance, have dependency on another field) it's group or section will be highlighted instead.

  • Activating the admin search bar by "ctrl+f".
  • Providing an ability to search for settings available in Store > Configuration right in the search bar.
  • Auto scrolling to the selected result on Store > Configuration page.
