Overview

With regards to e-commerce, it is important to convert a visitor of your store to a potential customer. One of our products helps to acheive this is INFINITE SCROLL.

This is a technique which allows the user to scroll down a page and look for more content which automatically and continuously loads at the bottom, eliminating the user’s need to click to the ‘Next page’ button. The idea behind infinite scroll is that it allows people to enjoy a frictionless shopping experience. They can surf the store and casually purchase products without clicking the ‘Next page’ button which interrupts the shopping experience.

Without a natural stopping point, people tend to just keep going. Infinite Scroll is designed to pull customers deep into your store. Though long lists are not new, the way in which we scroll these lists has fundamentally changed since the arrival of mobile interfaces. Due to the narrowness of mobile screens, list items are arranged vertically, requiring frequent scrolling.

Infinite scrolling is a highly needed technique for today’s e-commerce stores as the interaction behavior on pages and lists has changed a lot. Infinite scroll offers an efficient way to browse that ocean of products in your store, without having to wait for pages to load. Rather, the user enjoys a truly responsive experience, whatever device they’re using.

• You can configure it to use this feature in the category page or not. This defines whether this extension should load the products in the category page.
• You can select the loader type as ‘Autoloader’ or with a ‘Load More’ button. This defines whether the page to autoload the products at the end of the scroll automatically or to load the products with a click of a button such as ‘Load more’.
• You can decide to show the loader icon in the pages or not. This defines whether the user is shown the loader icon when loading the products.
• You can configure the scroll start position with integer values. This defines when the scroll should be started and the content to be loaded automatically.
• You can configure it to use in the search page or not. This defines whether this extension should load the products in the search page.
• You can configure whether to use it in the ‘Advance search’ page or not. This defines whether this extension should load the products in the ‘Advance search’ page.
• You can configure it to show the ‘Back to top’ button at the end of the scroll. This defines whether this extension should show the ‘Back to top’ button or not.
• You can configure the ‘Back to top’ button’s background color from the configuration section.
• You can configure it to show the ‘No more products to show’ message from the configuration to show that there are no products at the end of the page.
• This extension works on 2.4.x versions.
