Overview
Back to topBy default, prices in Magento 2 are always displayed with two digits for the decimal part, even for the round prices that have two zeros as digits. Round Prices Cut extension allows removing the 00 decimal part of prices. In other words, this extension allows a store administrator setting prices precision to zero for round prices only.
Depending on what you configure, this display change is visible in the front-end or admin area and you can activate it on the stores you choose. It works on all pages, for all types of products and all currencies. The extension is simple and really efficiency to improve user experience. Indeed, removing these unnecessary zeros is like removing unnecessary information: it's a must-have cleaning. Furthermore, it is undeniable that the aesthetic aspect of your website is improved. This is especially true when all your prices are round prices.
Use Cases
Suppose you want to display prices like $99 or 99€ instead of $99.00 or 99.00€, you can do that using this extension. Of course, prices like $99.50 will remain unchanged.
Once this feature is enabled, the 00 decimal part of prices will disappear from all pages of your site: Catalog Category Page, Catalog Product Page, Compare Page, Cart Page, Checkout Page, Mini Cart. Even if a catalog price rule is applied, it works while the final price is a rounded price.
