    Two Factor Authentication (2FA) / Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) 

    Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) extension by miniOrange enables second-factor authentication for your admins and customers and is highly secure & easy to set-up extension. To access the account, one must go through an additional layer of authentication in addition to the standard login and password verification method.

    Magento Two Factor Authentication / Google Authenticator extension provides two-factor authentication for admins and customers during login via a range of methods (15+ authentication methods), including text message, Google Authenticator, hardware tokens, and many more.

    Features 

    • 4 two factor authentication methods including OTP over SMS, OTP over Email, OTP over SMS and Email, and Google Authenticator. 
    • Two Factor Authentication supports login using:
      • Login using Username + Password + 2FA
      • Login using Username + 2FA (Password less login)
      • Login using Email + Password + 2FA
      • Login using Email + 2FA (Password less login)
      • Login using Phone number + Password + 2FA
      • Login using Phone number + 2FA (Password less login)
    • If your phone is lost or stolen or discharged, we offer alternate login methods like Security Questions (KBA), and OTP Over Email.
    • 2FA offers inline registration of users so you can simply activate and configure the module and you are all set.
    • Supported TOTP (time-based one-time password) MFA methods: Google Authenticator.
    • User Flows:- User Inline Registration, user can set up their second-factor method on their first login and can log in with the same configured method seamlessly

    Premium Versions Features:- 

    • All free version features 
    • 15+ 2nd factor authentication methods including OTP over Email, OTP over SMS and OTP over SMS and Email, Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Duo Authenticator etc. 
    • Admin 2FA :- Enable 2FA for your store admins with an option to enable specific method or allow admins to choose 2A method of their choice. 
    • Customer 2FA : - Enable 2FA for customers with KBA as a back method. Also, allow customers to authenticate with a specific 2FA method or allow them to choose the method of their choice.
    • Supports Custom SMS / Email Gateway :- Support custom email and custom SMS Gateway along with GET and POST method. Easily configurable with custom email and sms gateways like twilio, MSG91, Sendgrid and practically any other email and SMS gateway. 
    • Role based 2FA :- Setup different 2FA methods for different admin and customers roles.
    • Configurable Options for Custom Gateways :- Allows you to configure the sms and email gateways such as sms template sent to the customer, length of OTP, sender email, subject to the email, email template etc. 
    • Backup Method for Admin :- Allows admin to gain access to Magento backdoor by the URL provided incase admin gets locked out, if the phone is lost or stolen, problem in receiving the OTP etc. 
    • Backup Method for Customers :- Admin can reset the 2FA method configured by the customer hence resetting the 2FA for the customer and allowing him to go through the authentication process in case the customer gets locked out, if the phone is lost or stolen, problem in receiving the OTP etc. Alternatively customers can also log in using the KBA method.
    • User Management :- Admins can manage and reset configured 2FA methods for all the roles of backend and frontend store users. 
    • Reconfigure Options for Admins :- Admin can configure more than one method to authenticate. (Only one method can be active at a given time) 

    You can choose from any of the above Two-Factor Authentication (MFA) methods to increase your password-based authentication.
